The Transportation Subcommittee of the Delaware Hispanic Commission focuses on challenges, awareness, and opportunities to the Hispanic Community in the areas of transportation, driver license obtainment, vehicle ownership and registration, transportation related employment and public carrier options. The subcommittee will advise the Hispanic Commission on means to improve the delivery of these services as well as recommend policy changes needed to implement these goals.

Delaware Hispanic Commission Champion, Charito Calvachi-Mateyko lobbies for Safer Roads for all Delawareans by supporting bill #59 the Driving Privilege Card which passed the General Assembly, and was signed by Governor Jack Markell, on the 30th of June 2015.
