Jack is a veteran of the U.S. Army and served in East Germany during the Cold War. He is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania Wharton School of Business.

The foundation for serving others, in multiple spheres, is rooted in Jack’s degree in Scholastic Philosophy, when he became involved with the Latino community. This triggered his study and learning to speak the Spanish language. Jack has worked in a variety of fields in his lifetime, including as District Manager of Dunn & Bradstreet, Managing Director at a national ad agency, National Sales Manager at Pars Mfg. Co., National Marketing Consultant at Thomas Register, and most recently, as a realtor agent for Testly Realty where he worked for 20 years.

Jack has continued serving others. He was appointed chairperson for the Wilmington Diocese and the Delaware Council on Interfaith Partnerships. He was secretary for 2Fish, a non-profit dedicated to helping to hire and train former offenders for construction jobs. He was also a volunteer employment skills teacher in the Delaware prison system for almost a decade, where he assisted Latino community members with English proficiency and employment skills.
